Financial Coaching & Planning
Knowledge is power.
Financial capability is critical to economic stability, and skill-building can happen any where. Financial education should be informed by the latest financial information, techniques, and research in pedagogy, andragogy, and behavioral economics.
Midas' innovative Financial Confidence & Coaching Program helps Mass. residents develop new self-sustaining skills and tools to better manage their finances, create savings and assets, and access vetted resources and information. This helps them make better decisions, understand their options, realize their financial goals, and increase their long-term finances and assets. In 2016, as a result of a grant from the Foundation for Financial Planning, Midas expanded its Financial Confidence & Coaching Program to include free financial planning guidance and expertise from members of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts.
Families build their financial health and knowledge through personalized financial coaching and/or financial planning by phone or Skype, with follow-up using multiple platforms. The remote delivery model allows people to access high-quality coaching and planning services - previously only available to higher income clients of executive coaching - who want to privately build skills and overcome individual barriers.
The program was created by Midas and is accessed through the MassSaves website.
